One region, four signature seas, one trusted team

Yachting Experience is the yacht charter and liveaboard specialist of South-East Asia. We don't list every boat that floats — we hand-pick the finest yachts and phinisi across Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia, and we build each itinerary around you. Whether it's a day cruise in Singapore, a diving expedition in Raja Ampat, a sail through the Mergui Archipelago or an exploration of Komodo National Park, our brokers know the waters, the captains and the seasons.

From first enquiry to disembarkation, you talk to the same team. That's the difference.

Tailored Charters

Yacht charters at the pace of South-East Asia

Imagine waking to silence under the limestone karst of the Andaman Sea, diving with manta rays off Cape Kri, trekking jungle paths to spot a Komodo dragon, or sipping a sundowner as Marina Bay lights up the horizon. We design these holidays — one boat, one crew, one itinerary — at a time, anywhere between Mergui and Raja Ampat.

Tailored from start to finish

We don't sell packages. Every itinerary is built around your dates, your group and the way you want to sail — fast and active, slow and contemplative, dive-focused or shore-focused. Our brokers work with you and the captain to shape it.

On board and ashore

Diving with manta rays, trekking after Komodo dragons, snorkelling untouched reefs, paddleboards and jet-skis on the larger yachts. Fishing villages, hot springs, hidden waterfalls. The boat takes you — the days are yours to shape, with a crew that knows every cove.

A hand-picked fleet

40+ yachts and traditional phinisi across the region — catamarans for day cruises, modern motor yachts for week-long stays, phinisi for the slow magic of Indonesia. Sailed by crews our brokers know personally, maintained to the standard we'd want for ourselves.

Our selection

A hand-picked fleet of 40+ yachts across the region

Sail yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, traditional phinisi — selected for the quality of the crew, the upkeep of the equipment and the captain's knowledge of local waters. Our brokers know every captain personally.

“We did two trips with Yachting Experience and each time had a blast — first in the Mergui Archipelago, then in the Komodos on a different boat that fit our family for a diving holiday. Our brokers always understood what we needed, which made all the difference.”
— Emmanuelle · Mergui & Komodo, Hong Kong
“A big shout-out to Yachting Experience for the professionalism throughout the whole planning, despite COVID-19 regulations. We booked the Leopard 51 powercat — friendly and helpful crew, and the yacht beautifully kept. Everyone had a blast.”
— Diana · Singapore
“We booked the Sealine 42 for five people and had an amazing getaway. The team planned the route perfectly so we could see Marina Bay Sands and the city skyline just after sunset. Very quick to respond to every enquiry.”
— Constantin · Singapore
“What an awesome trip! Yacht was perfect, crew very responsive and attentive, captain very engaging — and we loved the flexibility to go and do whatever our group asked. Swimming, eating, drinking, beautiful ambience and great views.”
— Mark · Singapore
Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you sail

01 When is the best season to charter in South-East Asia? +
The region runs on two opposite monsoon cycles. Myanmar, Thailand and Raja Ampat all share the same window — November to April: flat seas, clear water, the dry side of the monsoon. Komodo runs on the opposite cycle, April to October. Singapore sails year-round thanks to its sheltered waters. Our brokers will match your travel dates to the right destination.
02 How long should a charter last? +
It depends on the destination. In Singapore, half-day and day cruises are the norm. In Thailand, you can sail from a single day-trip up to several weeks — short escapes and proper itineraries both work. In Indonesia and Myanmar, the destinations are remote and only really make sense as liveaboard — a minimum of 2 nights, more typically 5 to 10 nights for Komodo, Raja Ampat or Mergui.
03 What's the difference between a private charter and a cabin cruise? +
A private charter books the entire boat for your group — full control of the itinerary, pace and menu. A cabin cruise (also called a liveaboard) means you book one cabin on a shared sailing, with a fixed itinerary. Most of our guests choose private charters; cabin cruises are a great entry point for solo travellers or couples on a tighter budget.
04 How much does it cost? +
Prices vary enormously by destination, boat and season. As a guide: Singapore day cruises start around 799 SGD, Indonesian phinisi range from 2,000 to 15,000 USD / night depending on size and standing, Myanmar liveaboards are similar to high-end Indonesian phinisi. All prices on our fleet pages are listed in USD or SGD per night.
05 Do I need to be a diver to enjoy the trip? +
Not at all. Diving is one option among many — guests also come for snorkelling, trekking, wildlife (Komodo dragons, manta rays, birds of paradise), beach picnics, paddleboarding and pure rest. Boats with dive compressors are flagged in the fleet listings; non-diving itineraries are equally available.
06 How quickly do you reply to enquiries? +
Our brokers come back to every enquiry within 24 hours, often the same day. Once you've shared dates, group size and the kind of experience you're after, expect a first proposal — boat suggestions, draft itinerary, ballpark quote — within two to three working days.
